I just wanted to share with you who are interested of course on the lighting & grip equipment used to produce most of my images. This article is intended for the tech heads, aspiring studio & working photographers
Strobe power generators:
Elinchrome Micro AS 1500ws & 3000ws
Profoto ProAcute 12 2400ws
Bowens Travelpak - strictly for location
For most applications the Elinchrome generators are overkill, but the ample power does have it's advantages. It's better to have too much power than not enough. The way I cut down on power especially for low ƒ stop use is with Neutral Density filter gels along with with various angel hair and opaque scrims over the flash heads.
Monoblocks:
Profoto Compact 300ws (2)
Bowens Gemini GM200 & GM400RX
Flash heads:
Elinchrome A3000N - to capture fast moving objects(like flying hair), S3000N, S1500N. These heads will handle 3000ws & 1500ws respectively.
Profoto Acute 2400ws
Grip Equipment:
Matthews light, medium heavy & C stands
Matthews hardware Gag knuckles, grip arms, Flex scrims, & flags & Mini booms
Bogan 3371 Super Boom
Reflectors, softboxes, umbrellas, & Zoom spot:
Elinchrome 27" White Beauty dish
Elinchrome 12-24˚ Zoom Optical spot
standard & grid reflectors
Plume Wafer medium & large softboxes
Standard 36" umbrellas - I like to use these for shoot through purposes only
Westscott 7' Parabolic umbrella
Bowens Jetstream Wind Machine - love this fan!
Gitzo Tripods
Grids, 3, 10, 20, 30, 40˚ - I love using these for most of my work.
Camera system: Nikon
